Build and Release Engineer - Wanted with 1.5yrs exp

The current requirement is as follows:

Position Description

Special Duties/Job Function: Build and Release Engineer

Experience: 1.5 to 2+yrs

We are looking for highly motivated and qualified Build and Release engineer to be a part of Vendio QA group.

You will work closely with Vendio Product Development team, QA and Operations team in releasing the existing and new software products. Vendio Release and Build Team is tasked with managing multiple active code branches, running builds in QA and Staging Environment and releasing/deploying products in multiple Production environments.

Position Requirements

Desired Skills:
1. BE / B.Tech./MCA/ MSc (IT) in Computer Science or related area of study with minimum 60% marks
2. Expertise in CVS/SVN/PVCS, Clearquest/Teamtrack/Bugzilla
3. Strong knowledge of, ANT, Perl, Shell scripting and Java.
4. Strong knowledge of software development lifecycles and in Configuration management process.
5. Strong knowledge in Branch management process.
6. Knowledge of UNIX environment, including administration and scripting.
7. Excellent communication skills and Strong analytic skills.
8. Understanding the querying capabilities on Oracle and Mysql DB.
9. Ability to multi-task, prioritize tasks and quickly adjust in a rapidly changing environment.
10. Desirable Experience: Java, Perl, UNIX.
