Job Description:

Provides ongoing Oracle DBA support for Siebel environments, including Database monitoring, issue resolution, and working with the appropriate technical support staff (internal and vendor).

Provides support as needed for multiple Siebel-Oracle environments. Assists in release and migration planning.

Provides support for OLTP and OLAP Siebel databases.

Work with application teams to design and build databases, data warehouses, database objects, and optimize SQL.

Resolve database performance and data issues as necessary.

Follow existing processes and procedures.

Duties also include SQL Tuning, troubleshooting, resolving errors and failures, documentation, knowledge sharing, auditing activities, and monitoring database resource utilization.

Participates in application release process.

Manages Oracle monitoring the logs and statistics reports, updating the server software as appropriate, providing backup and disaster recovery, and troubleshooting hardware and software problems in order to provide a reliable Siebel environment for end users.

Preferable experience on DATAGUARD.

Should have worked on multiple Siebel-Oracle environments on Client production support side.
