Responsibilities:
Primary Task:
Act as first level of customer support on all types of Support emails, chats and calls.
Specifics:
Answer Support emails, chats and calls on a daily basis.
Provide insight to management on the root cause of emails/calls and assist in finding ways to reduce customer contact rate into Support via product improvement, writing product help/FAQs, and customer communication process improvement.
Prior Experience (Minimum 1 year with a US/UK based company):
Experience with phone-based support for English speaking customers.
Experience with email or chat-based customer support for English speaking customers (OPTIONAL).
Experience with the Internet.
Preferred experience with web based software.
Experience working night shifts.
Qualifications
Excellent written English skills
Excellent English speaking skills
Excellent phone skills
Typing speed of 40 words per minute or more
Good troubleshooting skills
College/university degree
Personal Attributes:
Ability to communicate ideas clearly and succinctly.
Strong sense of teamwork.
Must be professional, highly motivated.
Genuine desire to help customers.
Goal oriented – able and willing to work towards team goals and put in extra effort to meet those goals when necessary.
Experience with the Internet.
Prior experience with eBay Auctions, ecommerce and knowledge in HTML would be a BIG PLUS!
